Description
Taken from near J Street, this vintage color postcard of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacramento at the corner of Eleventh and K streets utilizes the vertical display to capture the height and beauty of the magnificent structure. Opened in June of 1889 after three years of hard work by a combination of laborers and artisans, the cathedral was strategically located one block north of the state capitol building and across the street from the original location of Christian Brothers School.
