Photograph was edited for publication purposes NBC Productions, initially established by RCA in 1947, was renamed NBC Studios in 1996. Photograph caption dated November 5, 1956 reads, "Now under construction at NBC's Color City site in Burbank, new office building will be completed in February. Its occupancy will transfer 'nerve center' of network's operation from Hollywood to Valley. New office building to house administrative and executive personnel was designed with emphasis on maximum flexibility.
