Description
This circa-1970 photo shows Hunter's Drugs at 912 Second St. Located near the end of downtown Sacramento at Second and I streets, this property housed hotels during the first part of the 1900s. In the 1950s and early 1960s, employment agents operated out of the building. By the time this photograph was taken, the heavily gated facade with tattered awnings was home to Hunter's Drugs, formerly located at Second and J streets.
