Photograph caption dated July 24, 1958 reads, "These North Hollywood members of 311th Logistical Command, now in summer training at Camp Roberts, don gas masks for chemical warfare training. They are PFC Nick Davidovich, SP-3 Ronald Maas, PFC Forrest Smith and their instructor, Lt. John Hebert. Training is to teach Reservists proper precautions to take if subjected to gas attack."
