The Army Transportation Corps held its second anniversary celebration at Wilmington on July 31, 1944, by handling more war cargoes for Uncle Sam's armed forces in the Pacific. This P-47 fighter plane is one of the many thousands of fighting craft shipped out of the Los Angeles Port of Embarkation.
