Photograph caption dated December 27, 1957 reads, "Rush for root beer refreshments - Young newspaperboy-businessmen crowd around soft drink stand to cool dusty throats after watching thrilling feature length western movie. Five color cartoons were also shown during holiday event in which children could drink and eat free pop and popcorn to their hearts' content. All Valley Times newspaperboys were invited to party and could bring their friends and relatives."
