Description
A view of the Torii Gate in the Japanese garden, with a young, smiling man seated on the grass in the foreground. The Torii gate was taken down due to disrepair during World War II and was never replaced. On verso:"Mr. Goto's old views". Probably Shige Goto, son of Chiyozo Goto, in front of the Torii gate, Huntington Garden. Per Richard Goto, Shige Goto's son.
