Description
The old barn in which the movie industry was born on December 27, 1913, when Cecil B. DeMille started making "The SquawMan," was dedicated as California historical landmark No. 554. It is part of Paramount Studio. Some celebrities are shown with the plaque at the dedication. From left to right are: Samuel Goldwyn; Jesse Lasky; Cecil B. DeMille; Adolph Zukor; Leo Carrillo and Y. Frank Freeman. Photo dated: December 28, 1956.
