Mrs. Gloria Hendrickson, 23, named Aaron (Bob) Holstein, 37 (pictured), as the man who severely beat her in a lonely spot on El Segundo Blvd. Mrs. Hendrickson stated that she has known Holstein for two years, and since her divorce, Holstein has been trying to get her to marry him. When he broached the subject of an engagement again, and she again refused him, Holstein flew into a rage and began choking and beating her. Bruised and battered, Mrs. Hendrickson was taken to the Vermont Avenue substation of the Sheriff's office at 1:30 a.m. by Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brownley, who rescued her from her spurned suitor.
