Photograph article dated March 2, 1960 partially reads, "Flow Line, virtually a carbon copy of the fabulous Swaps, sharpened up for the Santa Anita Derby Saturday by stepping a mile yesterday on a heavy track in 1:43 4-5 will [sic] Bill Boland, his regular jockey, in the irons... Tompion, the other 'big gun' for the Derby, also worked yesterday, going a mile and one-sixteenth in 1:30 4-5 with exercise boy John Donaho in the saddle."
