Description
A group of Mayan men stand in line close to a voting table on March 1982. Most of them are wearing hats. In front of the group there is a woman writing into a voting register. She is surrounded by one more woman and several men. Groups of Mayan men started lining up to vote at five in the morning. They were told that they would be killed if they did not vote. Un grupo de hombres mayas yacen parados en línea cerca de una mesa de votación en marzo de 1982. La mayoría de los hombres portan sombrero. En frente de la línea se observa a una mujer sentada escribiendo sobre un registro de votaciones. A su alrededor se observa una otra mujer y varios hombres. Grupos de hombres mayas comenzaron a hacer fila para votar a las cinco de la mañana. Les dijeron que serían asesinados si no votaban.
