V1p173c In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 173 bottom. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written under photo: "Commandry Hall Sutter St. near Fillmore 1909." View shows elaborate three-story brick building on the south side of Sutter between Pierce and Steiner. A man and a little girl are walking in front of it. Signs by the entrance read "Come here election night as the guest of The Chronicle and get reliable election returns. Read the Chronicle for particulars."
