"Fra China. Mr. Hudson Taylor" ("From China. Mr. Hudson Taylor"). Dr. J. Hudson Taylor, an English missionary doctor, born 1832. In 1865 he founded "China Inland Mission". The picture is taken on June 3, 1905. Hudson Taylor died that evening at 21.30. He is sitting in a basket chair in the middle of the picture. 27 of the 32 people in this picture are missionaries (American, English, German, Swedish, Norwegian) In the back in the door opening:Mrs. Anna Kristine Dorthea Reichelt, Andreas Fleischer 1878-1957 (in a dark suit), a missionary in China 1904-1912 and married Petra Amalie Margrete Ulsaker on February 1, 1908 in Yiyang, Karl Reichelt 1877-1952, a missionary in China 1903-1925 and 1926-1946,married Anna Kristine Dorthea Gerhardsen on August 12, 1905 in Kuling, Johan Gotteberg (in a dark suit), in front of him in a white dress:Mrs. Gotteberg.
