Title supplied by cataloger. View of "The Chimes", an antique shop located at 201 W. Graham Avenue in Lake Elsinore. The two-story, wood-framed, Moorish-styled building spans the length of the photo, showing how large this structure truly is. See #00073589 for an earlier view of building.; The historic 121-year-old building was built in 1887 as a spa with 10 hot mineral baths. It was called the Crescent Bath House, and was later named the Lake View Bath House. In 1972, Lory and Wilma Watts purchased the old Crescenta Bath house property, renaming it The Chimes; it operated as an Antique Shop until they closed their doors thirty years later, in May 2002. In 2005, after many months of being for sale, the building and its 1.5-acre site was once again purchased, this time by Dan and Helen Gross, for the whopping price of $1.5 million dollars. This beautiful building was designated a National Historic Place in 1976.
