Rancho La Costa was the first subdivision developed by the Marblehead Land Company, which had been formed by May Rindge in 1921 to facilitate the sale and lease of the Rindge property in Malibu. The Roosevelt Highway (later the Pacific Coast Highway) is on the right. The La Costa hillside is today dense with colorful dwellings. complete;
