Naomi Ellen (Slapper) Brown and her husband, Lee Emanuel Brown (left) with two unidentified men, possibly business partners, in front of L.E. Brown's furniture and bedding store at 4431 S. Central Ave. Browns were originally from Kickory County, MO. In 1918 they moved to Kansas City, MO.
