This photo of Iglesia del Principe de Paz (Church of the Prince of Peace) was taken from across the street, on the corner of Cypress Ave. and Merced St. It shows a large corner building, painted cream-color with red and gray roofs. The main entrance, accessible from either Cypress Avenue or Merced Street, looks like a three-tiered tower and is gated with a white wrought iron fence. Three windows can be seen along the right of the building with more fencing below. The building continues along the left side to approximately mid-block with four different "sections", which are all part of the church. Houses can be seen behind the church and atop the hill in the background. Verso on photograph states that this church was formerly known as the Cypress Park Presbyterian Church, but it does not list when it acquired its current name. Photo dated: April 2007.
