Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the entrance of Casa Verdugo in Glendale, [s.d.]. Railroad tracks cross the dirt of the foreground horizontally, their ties visible toward the right of the image. Behind the tracks, an arbor-like structure which consists of wooden posts, and a gabled, shingled roof, between whose sides rests a piece of corrugated tin reading "Casa Verdugo", indicates the entrance pathway. This rock-lined pathway recedes into the rear middleground at its far end, two people sit on a bench. To the right of the entrance structure, light-colored rocks are arranged in the grass to spell "Casa V[er]dugo". Another rock-lined path curves from the right edge into the middleground before also receding into the trees. The remainder of the middleground is filled by trees, through which fragments of buildings can be seen. Hills are visible in the distance.
