Jack Hope was Bob Hope's oldest brother and served as Bob's manager and general supervisor of Bob Hope Enterprises. Funeral and burial took place at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills where representatives of every branch of the armed forces served as pall-bearers in recognition of Hope's work arranging USO programs.
Photograph caption dated August 11, 1962 reads, "Family, Entertainment Friends Mourn Jack Hope at Funeral. Attending were Bob Hope, left, and Jerry Colonna, fifth from left."
