Photograph of Mission San Francisco de Asis (Dolores) from the front, ca.1887. A cross is at the apex of the roof of the church. Four columns arc over the main entryway, and three small bells can be seen at the top of the façade. The cemetery is visible behind a fence at left. Several tall graves can be seen over the fence and through the thick vegetation. At right, ruins of walls are visible. The mission was founded October 9, 1776.
