School will cost approximately $4,691,000. Since blueprints were completed, rising building costs have forced Los Angeles city schools to adopt new school models which will include joint gymnasium facilities for boys and girls, eliminating one of $1,800,000 buildings. Other curtailments will include back-to-back classrooms, less landscaping. New Poly will have auditorium with seating capacity of 1,250, playing field with quarter-mile running track and bleachers for 3,000."; See images #00132870 through #00132875 for all photos in this series.
