"Ruins north from casino ocean front Novelty Foto Co Venice"--text, on image. The postcard verso has message addressed to Lillie Reagan of Trenton, New Jersey: "About all that is left of our beautiful little city, which was almost completely destroyed by fire Sept 3. My little 'shack' is just four doors from this bunch of ruins & the walls were getting very warm. Jess." Title transcribed from item; date supplied by cataloger based on history of the Ocean Park fire and the September 9, 1912, postmark on verso.
