Description
Photograph of the Long Beach pier and wharf, Los Angeles, ca.1905. Unpaved pathways zigzag towards the long stretch of the pier's boardwalk, at the end of which on the right, a group of people can be seen leaning against the guard rails. Further in the foreground, two billboards stand with their non-advertising sides facing the camera. To their right, an abandoned cart with spoked wheels sits. A sign can be seen through the supports underneath the boardwalk reading "Home Made Can[dy] / [...]llery." Mountains are visible in the background.
