Title supplied by cataloger. Photograph caption dated October 8, 1938 reads, "Louis Hayward was acting in 'The Duke of West Point' at the Edward small studios when he was handed a subpoena to appear as a prosecution witness at the preliminary hearing of William W. Hawkins, accused of stealing Hayward's car. 'The Duke of West Point' troupe had to remain idle while the law took its course. Since Hayward is still without his automobile, his fiance´e, Ida Lupino, also of the films, had to chauffeur him to court."
