Photograph of a view of Wilshire Boulevard from MacArthur Park, ca.1949. The wide paved road is at center and is being traveled by several large automobiles. A fourteen-story building can be seen near the side of the road at right, while a building with a tall, narrow tower is at left. Several palm trees can be seen along the edge of the street at right, and the trunk of one of these trees can be seen in the foreground at right. Legible signs include, from left to right: "Watch Ford in '48", "Peking Curio Shop", "No Parking [?] One Hour Parking", "Zebra Room", and "Dancing".
