Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated October 31, 1962 reads "This North Hollywood passerby is either a midget, or this red, white and blue mailbox is the world's largest. Whatever the case, the man finally gave up his attempt to post a letter after vainly trying to reach the letter-drop. Actually, this giant, 12-foot model of an official U.S. mailbox is being prepared for the Hollywood Christmas parade."
