Photograph caption dated January 9, 1956 reads, "Burbank motorcycle officer William Catlin, 44, above, said he owes life to citizens who helped him subdue youth he said threatened to kill him as the youth was being questioned. Reginald Lemon, 18, was booked on suspicion of assault with intent to commit murder."
