Photograph article dated February 2, 1955 reads, "Twenty years ago three young North Hollywood men pledged they would get together in far distance 1955 to renew acquaintances. The date was to be Feb. 1, the time high noon and the place Weddington street and Lankershim boulevard. Yesterday the Valley Times stationed a photographer at the corner a few minutes before 12 and sure enough, before long, he saw three men glancing at their watches as they hurried toward the corner. Marion Bolin, a United Airlines pilot, came in from San Francisco. William McBride, highway patrolman, arrived from his home in King City, Calif., and Harold Huff, contractor, had only a short distance to travel from his North Hollywood home. All were football players when they graduated from North Hollywood High School in 1932. The reunion started with hearty greetings and hand shaking and adjourning for luncheon." Photograph caption reads, "On time for 20-year date - Marion Boling, William McBride and Harold Huff, from left, 1932 graduates of North Hollywood High School, were right on time for date made 20 years ago. They pledged they would meet at corner of Weddington street and Lankershim boulevard."
