Printed on recto: Mission San Miguel. Founded July 25, 1797 by Father Fermin Lasuen. This was the sixteenth mission in the California chain. Named for Saint Michael the Archangel. This mission has the only surviving original interior from the mission era. Also known as Mission San Miguel Arcangel. This image has a yellow border and is mounted on a gray card.
Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 24-bit RGB color. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPEG format using Photoshop CS3.
