Photograph article dated April 1, 1964 partially reads, "Carriers and clerks at the Reseda Post Office are demanding a full-scale investigation into working conditions which they describe as "intolerable." Some employes [sic] are describing the post office at 18618 Sherman Way as a "house of fear" or "a concentration camp." Merchants in the immediate area have complained about poor mail service and say the morale of carriers is poor." Note: Pictured is Larry Fairbanks, chief steward of the local union.
