The woman in the center kneeling at the table is Chiyoko Nishimura. The Nishimura and Nagata Family Papers contains items relating to the history of the Pasadena Buddhist Church, including photos of events and groups associated with the church like the Pasadena Buddhist Women's Association, the Young Buddhist League (BL), various Buddhist Church conferences, Judo competitions, and Kendo competitions. Materials also relate to the incarceration of the Nagata family at the Heart Mountain incarceration camp in Cody, Wyoming and include photographs of the family.
