Description
Interior of dry goods store owned by Benjamin F. Bonnel and George Cosby Harrison. Their names are written on reverse. Two men are standing at the back of the store, one wearing a suit, and the other in overalls; another man is behind the counter on the left. A row of cast iron stoves is on the right side of the image, with housewares on the shelves above. Shovels and other implements are hanging at the back of the store. The shelves on the left hold boxes of goods; a scale is on the counter. The floor and ceiling are both wood. (Per the donor, Harrison married Bonnel's sister, Dora. Parthenia Bonnel married into the O'Neal family, of the law firm Rankin, O'Neal, Luckhart and Lund.)
