Photograph caption dated September 17, 1957 reads, "Valley Pontiac dealers will soon display General Motor's new British-made Vauxhall Victor which combines American and European traditions in small car automotive styling. Company executives and press representatives are shown here examining import at Burbank Training Center. The Victor will feature low silhouette with panoramic windshield and wrap-around window. It is powered by economical four-cylinder engine which develops 54.8 horsepower at 4,200 r.p.m. and turns in 30 miles per gallon at 50 miles per hour. Body undercoating is applied at factory and is standard item."
