Marymount College, all female, was founded in 1933 in Los Angeles and later merged with St. Joseph College of Orange, and then with Loyola University to eventually form co-ed Loyola Marymount University in 1973. Marymount College was located at 10643 Sunset Boulevard in Westwood. Marymount High School is at that location today. Photograph caption dated December 23, 1958 reads "Wrapping toys and Christmas gifts for orphans and underprivileged children was the final 1958 campus chore for Mary Anderson, Julie Magoffin and Renate Lubeley, from left. The Van Nuys girls are students at Marymount College. Mary's parents are the Carl E. Andersons. Julie is the daughter of Mrs. Margaret B. Magoffin. Mr and Mrs. Anton Lubeley are Renate's parents."
