Description
Photograph shows Reverend Randy Hill and a woman standing in front of a stained glass window. They are probably in a church. The Reverend is wearing an alb and stole and the woman is wearing a stole over street clothes. The stained glass window is depicting Christ accepting little children and has a plaque engraved with "Roy S. Herrold" below it.
The Reverend moved to San Jose in 1985 and founded the Holy Trinity Community Church. The church was later renamed Hosanna Church of Praise. He was also co-founder of Necessities and More an organization that helped people living with HIV or AIDS. From Ted Sahl, "From closet to community: a quest for gay & lesbian liberation in San Jose & Santa Clara County," (2002), p.211-212.
