The gals were caught in action Sunday evening at the 40th Annual National AAU Senior Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at the Coliseum. The gals, from left to right, are Olga Connolly who threw 172 feet, two inches for a new meet record; Earlene Brown, who placed second with 154-foot, 5-inch effort; Japan's Seiko Obonai [pictured], 150 feet, 3 inches, and Melody McCarthy.
