Description
A side exterior shot of the Augustin Bernal Adobe, Rancho El Valle, taken from beyond the short plank and wire fence. The front picket fence can be seen near the veranda style porch and the house is partially obscured by a large bush. The backyard contained the Bernal Mill. Construction on the adobe began in 1848 and completed in 1850. The adobe is located on Foothill Road in Pleasanton, California. There are several black spots that are not part of the building, but are imperfections in the photograph.
