Photograph caption dated February 3, 1961 reads "Charles K. Wright, left, Los Angeles County Council commander, American Legion, and James C. Selover, deputy vice commander of area 6, talk with Pastor Myron D. Hetland, Pacoima, before annual tribute to the four chaplains who lost their lives on the USS Dorchester during World War II. Valley clergymen, representing the four faiths of the chaplains, attended event held by Granada Hills American Legion Post 829."
