Pilot Carl Dolbeare just before he takes off for fire from Lancaster's Fox Field. Photograph caption dated July 16, 1989 reads, "I guess it's one of the most hazardous occupations you can choose in civilian aviation. I've come back with hunks of charcoal and burnt wood larger than a man's thumb inside my engine covering."
