Description
Photograph of exterior view of two buildings in Hornitos, Mariposa, ca.1930. On the left the old Gold Bar Saloon sits with two small, wooden staircases out front leading to the wooden double doors. A small awning with a sign hanging down extends from several feet below the structure's top. An office of the Native Sons of the Golden West sits on the right with two iron doors on the front. The lightly-colored building stands shorter than the saloon with the letters "N.S.G.W." printed across the top. What appear to be the remains of brick walls can be seen in the background on the far left. The building owned by the Native Sons of the Golden West was once the office of Wells Fargo in 1854.
