Description
In this video recording Ronald Reagan speaks while sitting at a desk in a staged setting. Reagan discusses his disagreements with the policies of the Gerald Ford administration. He concludes by stating he wants to go to Washington so that he can "see this country become once again .. . the kind of country--the free country--that you and I grew up in." This television commercial for the 1976 Reagan presidential campaign aired around March 16, 1976. It is labeled "Reagan 30 Minute," and was created by the Citizens for Reagan Campaign Committee.
