Description
Valley Park Country Club later became Glenaire Country Club.
Photograph caption reads: "Everett J. Phillips, outgoing lieutenant governor of District 16 Kiwanis, left, hands over gavel to Heenan A. Elliott of Sherman Oaks club, right, while H. Park Arnold, district governor, looks on". Dr. Phillips was awarded a plaque by the Sun Valley, Northridge and Studio City Kiwanis clubs and a pin with 16 diamonds by the 49ers Club. The ceremonies took place at the Valley Park Country Club, 3910 Stansbury Ave., Sherman Oaks. Photograph dated: Dec. 6, 1948.
