Veteran dry goods man, J. J. Haggarty, a leading Los Angeles merchant for 33 years, died suddenly on the evening of Saturday, February 9th of a heart attack after a bout with influenza. Mr. Haggarty is survived by his widow, a daughter, a son, and two brothers.
