Photograph caption dated March 18, 1964 reads, "A borate bomber swoops low past a water tower to drop fire-quenching chemicals on a hot spot on the eastern flank of the Weldon Canyon-Granada Hills blaze yesterday. This photo was taken along the Zelzah fire road during the height of the blaze."
