Description
Commemoration of the "World's First Broadcasting Station," San Jose, 1959. Eight men stand in front of exhibit for the Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration of Charles Herrold's 1909 "San Jose Calling" radio station (later KQW). Names (on back): Eddie Bertola (RFT HiWay Cop), Gene Wilson (Ssoleum Wk, 1911), Chas O'Brian, Ken Sanders (Cad dlr, Turlock), Ray Newby (First Disc Jockey), Terry Hansen (1912 Operator), Maurice Dee (Friend of Newby and Gene Wilson).
