Description
Photograph of Mount Lowe tally-ho barn in Altadena, ca.1895. To the right, a small coach can be seen seating at least five people. Eight large horses in rows of two can be seen attached to the front of the coach. The "tally-ho" refers to the coach which provides transportation for passengers. The "tally-ho barn" most likely refers to the large structure in the background, where the horses may be kept. Two large barns can be seen in the background. Two small windows flank the central doorway, and two windows can be seen above the door on either barn. The doorway of barn at left has been left open.
