This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Text written under photo: "1916. Reunion of a few of the oldest living employees of the Southern Pacific RR." Photo shows nine elderly gentlemen formerly employed by the railroad, four seated in the front row with five standing behind. No names are given. The man seated at the left is holding a shovel. The next man seated is holding a wooden box bearing portraits of the railroad's founders. Next to him is a man holding a spikedriver. The man seated at the right is holding a framed piece; the glass is reflecting the light so that what is under it can not be seen.
