Description
The plumb bob, similar in shape to a bee and a woman's figure, reappears as a motif in this series. Macko used rubber stamps, combined with brilliant blue aquatint and multi-plate etching to create the composition of reoccurring images of bees, bee skeps, Minoan Snake Goddesses, roses, and circles.
