Description
The Valley to Vietnam series, produced by Sacramento Public Library, traces the arc of experience of Vietnam era veterans living in the Sacramento, California area. Dennis Drennan grew up in the Arden Park section of Carmichael, but was inspired by many things to join the U.S. Army and airborne infantry. After accomplishing as much as a Green Beret, he went to Vietnam (II Corps) and served with 5th Special Forces.
