Description
Photo shows highway crews striving to put the Roosevelt Highway at Santa Monica canyon into shape for traffic. Five feet of water poured over the roads, undermining the pavement. Scrapers are moving dirt to support the undermined pavement and dirt is being hauled from nearby mud-laden streets to the wash-outs.
